BWA

Summary
Imagine you have a Data Warehouse but problems with the response times. So you install BWA and have the need to define the data model and load it with your data.
BWA is, to some extend, nothing else than a database. A database optimized for Data Warehouse use like dealing with large volumes at low response times, using dimensional modeling with measures etc. The things BWA does not provide you with is a way to create the "tables" and a utility to load data into it, but the Business Objects DataServices product does. With this tool you might simply copy the existing Data Warehouse Star Schema into BWA, put a BI tool like Explorer on top and go for it.
